Chesterfield Cigarettes
When you think of Chesterfield cigarettes, what comes to mind? If you are any older than 30 or 40, probably images of Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart smoking a long, fat one, right? Probably so. So many people out there, especially in the movies and in the movie industry only smoke Chesterfield cigarettes. There is a certain level of coolness, perhaps, that is only attained by smoking this brand of cigarette and rightfully so. They have sponsored many of the media endeavors in the late years. Twilight Zone and Dragnet are just two shows that have been sponsored by the wealthy cigarette company. Chesterfield is infamous for both regular cigarettes and Chesterfield non filtered cigarettes as well. There have even been ads for Chesterfield cigarettes in Time magazine, advertising them as some of the finest mild cigarettes out there. Admittedly, Chesterfield cigarettes do hold a certain appeal all their own. Perhaps it is the fact that so many infamous and famous people have made smoking Chesterfields a habit. Perhaps it is because Chesterfields are so mild, or the fact that they can be found filter less and still dubbed a mild cigarette. Either way, Chesterfield cigarettes have been around for quite a while and they don’t seem to be going anywhere very soon. No matter what type of cigarettes you smoke or choose not to smoke it is undeniable that Chesterfield cigarettes are a presence in the tobacco industry. In the greater scheme of things, not only are they a part of the tobacco culture but they are part of the culture of the United States as well.
Yes, it is true that Chesterfields are just regular cigarettes; they have a mild version and a stronger unfiltered version that Chesterfield fans all over fiend for, but they are still a cigarette--a legalized drug in the United States. This has created some problems with young people trying to be cool like those in the movies and in music and smoke cigarettes themselves.
Chesterfields are a premium tobacco product available all over the world. Although they have been quite famous in the United States, these days they experience a bit more success overseas in the European countries as well. They are rather expensive cigarettes and imply an aura of class that can’t be beat, and is desired by people all over the world.
