Kool Cigarettes
If you are a cigarette smoker, have ever been a cigarette smoker or are friends or related to any number of cigarette smokers, you probably have heard of Kool cigarettes before. Kool is a brand of cigarettes that has been designed to be marketed to men, similar to how Virginia Slim brand cigarettes have been marketed mainly toward women. One of the things that set Kool cigarettes apart from other brands of cigarettes is the fat that they are all menthols. The brand of cigarette itself is menthol cigarettes, and nothing else although the brand does have a version of Kool mild’s for those who just can not or will not take the extra robust nature of the rest of them. Kool cigarettes were first advertised by a cartoon penguin who took on any number of admirable professions, advertising that Kools was the smoke of choice for men who had or wanted to be in a professional level to be respected. That cartoon penguin gimmick didn’t last very long, however--eventually the company discontinued use of the penguin to make the connection between COOL and KOOL and decided to try other advertising approaches.
What else ever could live up to the quality of a Kool cigarette? According to a Kool smoker, probably nothing but they might admit that Newport cigarettes come rather close. They are a less popular company altogether but Kool cigarettes tend to be a bit more affordable (or a lot more affordable depending on where you live) of a buy for those who are concerned with the price of smoking.
For those who prefer to smoke menthol cigarettes, Kool is a great choice of c cigarettes and a very affordable one at that. A great deal of people choose to smoke Kool cigarettes and care neither way that they are menthol or not. The House of Menthol is emblazoned across the front of the package, and that is the standard that they try to live up to. Kool cigarettes sure have changed since their emergence. Their advertising slogan changed way before the cigarette companies had such restrictions on ways to advertise, especially the use of the cartoon penguin that surely would have attracted as many child smokers as Joe Camel had the penguin kept on into the existence of Kool brand cigarettes. Are you part of the target audience for Kool cigarettes? Girls are smoking Kool cigarettes, boys are smoking Kool cigarettes. Are you?
