Tax Free Cigarettes
Cigarettes are a rather expensive thing, making smoking a rather expensive hobby in itself. Tobacco is not a cheap commodity; after all, the big tobacco farmers and cigarette manufacturers are not rich off of nothing now are they? For this reason, people are always looking for ways to get over on the tobacco industry, for ways to save money on the smoking habit that already costs them so much. Tax free cigarettes and duty free cigarettes are the object of many a smoker’s affections, as they can go through great lengths to save just a few cents or a few small dollars off of a box or even a carton of cigarettes. Depending on here you live in the United States, there are a variety of different taxes out there that are imposed on cigarettes. Down in the southern states of the United States, cigarettes cost a lot less as they are a great deal less heavily taxed than they are in many of the northern states. State a agencies tax cigarettes for a variety of reasons, but many of them have to do with discouraging people from buying cigarettes (at least so many of them) and having them be just expensive enough that children can not or will not buy them. Unless a child is truly addicted to cigarette smoking (which hopefully isn’t the case) 2 or 3 dollars is a reasonable price to pay for a pack of cigarettes whereas anything over five dollars is not, and the price of cigarettes in most states is getting up past the five dollar mark.
Finding tax free and duty free cigarettes online is an option that every person has regardless of where they live, but there are restrictions on tax free and duty free items that you must be clear on before assuming anything. While smoking is known to cause cancer, emphysema, aggravate pregnancies and make even worse some other bodily ailments, tax free cigarettes and duty free cigarettes have their appeal as well. They give people a reason to go on smoking, as it is a great deal more affordable when different things like tax- and duty-free cigarettes come into play.
If cigarettes get more expensive, will you stop smoking? Not if the price is still at all affordable. Duty free and tax free cigarettes give people an excuse to continue smoking, making local price increases futile. Before ordering cigarettes that boast such ‘freedoms’ be sure to examine the fine print and make sure you know what you are getting, and what you are paying.
